Who is the audience of this blog?
It’s me! This blog is my personal space and it is created solely for the purpose of my own enjoyment. I write for myself and I am my own audience. I am not trying to impress anyone or chase visitor stats or please the search engine gods by building SEO links or earn money from this blog. It’s entirely for my own pleasure of writing.
Over years, I have realized whenever I start writing with others in mind, I begin to second guess my thoughts, I tone things down, filter out my opinions and try to play it safe. That completely defeats the purpose of this blog, which you can read below.
What is the purpose of this blog?
🧠 For my own learning:
For me, writing is the best form of learning. When I write about a topic I tend to think deeply about it and it helps me internalize my learnings. It’s my way of copying data into long-term memory.
📘 My personal knowledge system:
This blog is my second brain. It’s my way of organizing and documenting my thoughts, learnings and insights. When I need to remember something that I learnt years ago or solve a similar problem or just remember what I was thinking during a specific period in time, this blog becomes my quick-reference guide.
🌱 Form of creative expression:
It helps me note down my thoughts and gain a better clarity about my feelings. In short, this blog is my digital garden where I collect what I learn, carefully prune my notes, plant new ideas and sharpen my thinking to build a beautiful garden that grows alongside me.
