Detaching from the end goal and enjoying the process

Lately, I have been reading the Bhagavad Gita, and one of the most profound verses I came across is this (chapter 2 verse 47):

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।
मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि॥

What it means;

You have the right to work but never to it’s fruits,
Don’t let the fruits of work be your motive, nor let your attachment be to inaction.

I am currently working on applying this philosophy to my life by actively training my mind to focus more on the process rather than the outcome.

In the past, my attention has always been fixed on the end goal, which often led to frustration and regret when things didn’t go as planned. This mindset leads to a state of disappointment when you fail to achieve or fall short of achieving the end goal.

I believe that by shifting my focus to enjoying the process itself, I can find a more lasting and fulfilling sense of happiness.
